The matching service
Most internships are filled through standard application forms and automated screening. TEC reviews students against the brief the business submits, then runs the placement as a structured project-based internship.
One application covers the matching process. Placements run in summer or during term, against a written brief. The default option is at no charge.
You define the work. TEC puts forward only those students who can show they can deliver it.

Students submit one application. Businesses submit a project brief covering the work, the tools required, and the measure of success.

Students complete the TEC Workplace AI Integration Course, developed with leading UK universities. A pass is required before they are shown to businesses. Each candidate is then reviewed against the brief.

The business receives a shortlist with evidence linked to the work. Students are put forward where we believe they can have a real impact.

Onboarding is set to the tools the team uses. Start dates, summer or during the academic year, are agreed between the student and the business.

The work is delivered as a structured project-based internship, against the brief that was submitted.

Students at leading UK universities who want an internship with real project work, and businesses with a defined piece of work that needs doing well, from start-ups and scale-ups through to SMEs.
A required step in the process, developed with the UK's leading universities. Students complete it after applying. A pass is required before any business can see their profile. The accreditation remains on the CV whether or not a placement follows.
The match starts with the business's project(s). Candidates are assessed against the skills those project(s) require. Only students who can show present ability and a willingness to learn quickly are put forward.
Students start on Tier 1 at no charge. Coaching (Tier 2) is £19.99 a month, or £12.99 a month with tutoring. Tutoring (Tier 3) is £30 an hour, paid in advance for each session. For businesses, Basic is 12.5% of the project salary; Advanced Tier is a flat fee of £249.99.
